Helsidendamast Castle Burgk II

This beautiful silk damask is woven in 100% mulberry silk. The original fabric is handwoven with a width of 66cm. Unfortunately we have not received any confirmation of when the original was woven, but this type of pomegranate pattern has been woven since the Middle Ages. This fabric is woven on a modern loom and two lengths are woven at the same time, which is why the pattern looks a little disjointed in the middle of the fabric.
