Helsidendamast Castle Burgk II

This beautiful silk damask is woven in 100% mulberry silk. The original fabric is handwoven with a width of 56cm for the Neuberin house sometime in the first half of the 19th century. This fabric is woven on a modern loom and two lengths are woven at the same time, which is why the pattern looks a little disjointed in the middle of the fabric.
