Handwoven eri silk

Soft eri silk woven in a two-ply weave with a beautiful shimmer and drape. The fabric gets its shimmer from the fact that we have mixed in 20% mulberry silk to give the fabric extra luster. Silk breathes very well, which means that the fabric helps you maintain an even body temperature. Absorbs 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp, as it quickly releases the moisture. These properties make it suitable for baby clothes and clothes for anyone who has some type of disability that prevents them from regulating their body temperature well.

A bonus is that the material does not absorb odors so easily, which means that you can use garments made from erisilke knitwear a number of times without having to wash them because they smell bad.

The fabric is unwashed and should be machine washed at 30C on the wool program before being used for sewing and rinsed with about 2 tablespoons of vinegar to fix the color.

Use mild detergents intended for silk and wool, such as Almgrens laundry soap or Änglamarks liquid detergent for silk and wool and 2 tablespoons of vinegar in the rinse water.
