Silk shirt Favorite white

Loose silk shirt with a mason collar in a lovely mix of organic wild silk eri and cultivated mulberry silk. Straight cut model, hidden buttoning, mother-of-pearl buttons and rounded down to a slit in the side. The mulberry silk gives the shirt a nice shine and the eri silk allows the garment to breathe. A favorite garment that becomes more comfortable the more you use it.

We manufacture the shirt in India in collaboration with Nilima Silks, through whom we support hand weavers in rural India who weave the fabrics and a sewing collective who sews the clothes.

Washing instructions:
Wash infrequently - Silk doesn't absorb odors the way other materials do, so silk garments don't need to be washed as often. Instead, hang them out to air out every now and then, preferably when it's cloudy and never in direct sunlight.

if you need to wash the garment, do this;
Wash by hand or in the machine on the wool program, max 30C - use a laundry bag if you wash in the machine.
Use mild detergents intended for wool and silk (e.g. Almgrens laundry soap or Änglamarks liquid delicate detergent for wool and silk)
Do not use fabric softener.
