Poncho Jak Natural brown

Boho-inspired and pleasantly warming knitted poncho with fringes in soft and durable yak wool. The yak is a bovine animal, related to the musk ox and distantly related to our cattle. The yak lives at high altitudes in Central Asia. It has a thick and very soft undercoat, which makes it withstand the winter cold extremely well and it is this wool that is spun into yarn. The yak wool is relatively long-fibered, soft and very durable. Its natural color varies between gray-brown and dark brown, this means that the yarn can only be dyed in darker shades, unless you bleach the yarn - which is done for this poncho in our own design and sustainably made in Nepal.

Washing instructions:
Wash rarely, hang out and air the poncho every now and then instead - preferably in cloudy weather.
Pre-wash at 30C.
Only use mild detergents for wool and silk. For example, Almgrens Laundry Soap.
